What to Know Before Your Session
Here’s everything you need to know to ensure a smooth and stress-free photography experience:
📸 Session Fee
A $150 non-refundable session fee is due at booking and goes toward your total balance. This fee secures your date and includes:
- Email or phone consultation
- Style & Select online wardrobe styling
- Detailed post-session editing
- Access to your personalized proofing gallery

Session pricing may vary over time, but once you’re booked, your rate is locked in—no surprises.
🖼️ Image Quality
All images are high-resolution and professionally edited to reflect my signature style. Please note: RAW files are not included.
🌍 Travel Fees
Locations beyond 30 minutes from Oak Harbor (zip code 98277) may include a travel fee. I’ll always let you know in advance and aim to keep it affordable.
🧾 Sales Tax
Washington State and City sales tax will be added to all packages, as required.

How do you photograph sessions?
I specialize in creating images that feel authentic, joyful, and full of life. Being in front of the camera can feel a little awkward at first—but don’t worry! I use fun prompts, playful movement, and natural interactions to help you and your loved ones feel relaxed. The result? Genuine, emotion-filled moments that reflect the heart of your family.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m based in beautiful Oak Harbor, Washington, and I absolutely love traveling to capture stories in new places. Travel outside a 30-minute radius of 98277 may incur a travel fee, but I always aim to keep it budget-friendly. If I have other sessions near your area, I split travel fees fairly among clients.
When will we get our photos?
You’ll receive an online gallery of your beautifully edited images within 2–4 weeks of your session (often sooner, depending on the season). Your gallery makes it easy to download, share, and even order prints for your home.
How many pictures will we receive?
Most sessions include 15–25 hand-edited images. If you fall in love with more, you’ll have the option to upgrade and purchase the full gallery. I want you to have every meaningful moment that speaks to your heart.
How do pre-session meetings work?
Let’s connect in a way that works best for you—coffee meet-up, phone chat, video call, or email! I love getting to know your family beforehand so I can tailor your session to your story and style.
What should I wear?
I recommend neutral, natural tones that photograph beautifully outdoors. I avoid neons unless it’s part of your vision. You’ll also get access to Style and Select, a helpful styling tool that provides outfit suggestions (and links to buy them!). We’ll review everything during your pre-session consult.
Do you give raw images?
To maintain the artistic integrity of my work, I do not offer RAW files. All final images are professionally edited in my signature style. If you have any concerns or requests, I’m always happy to chat about your preferences.
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens—whether it’s illness or weather, I get it! I’ll do my best to reschedule your session within 2 weeks (or sooner for maternity or newborn sessions). If cancellation is necessary, we’ll work together to find the best solution.
What is a Mini Session
Mini sessions are short and sweet—usually 15–20 minutes—and include 5 fully edited high-resolution images. They’re offered a few times a year (Mother’s Day, holiday minis, etc.) and booked in 15-minute increments. A $100 deposit secures your spot, with the remainder due on session day. You can always upgrade to the full gallery later.
How do we pick out our Physical prints?
Once your proofing gallery is ready, images will be watermarked and numbered. You'll select your favorites and specify print sizes based on your package. Print turnaround is typically 1–2 weeks, depending on the season and how quickly you finalize your selections.
